Chrissie is a Level 2 trained yoga teacher, returning to Aotearoa from the UK in 2016. She first trained in Ashtanga yoga then later trained in Satyananda style. She has a special interest in the chakra system on which holds regular workshops.Safe practice is paramount to Chrissie and her teaching style is greatly influenced by her 25 years as a health practitioner. She is a trained acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and massage therapist.A typical class balances flowing, active and strengthening postures with slower, more meditative ones. Her approach is down-to-earth and friendly and likes you to leave her class feeling energized and relaxed – and with a smile on your face.
