April Jessica Pirie

April Jessica Pirie is on a mission to liberate society from the limiting belief that singing is a “talent” given at birth to only a few “special” people. She believes if you can speak you can sing, and that being connected to your natural voice is a powerful, healing and vital human right. April is a vocal mindfulness teacher based in Taupo. She is also a singer/songwriter, and one half of indie-Pop duo “False Heights”. After being introduced to Classical Tantra in 2017 by Kara-Leah Grant she began teaching a unique style of singing lessons that weaves both Classical Tantra and traditional vocal practices together. A style of teaching that deepens as her own personal practice evolves.
